Today Good Friday it the holiest of all Holidays in Mexico. This morning was the procession to crucify Christ. This evening was the procession to bury him... it is huge huge parade. This was my view of the parade!! Not wanting to push thru the crowds I went home... It is the same every year but still a beautiful site.. I just need to get there earlier next year.

My neighbors across the street created this shrine to "Viernes de Dolores"... translation " Our Lady of Sorrows" Easter is the holiest of Holidays in Mexico. Christmas is almost just a day on the calender but Easter they pull out all the stops. From now until Easter Sunday it will be non stop shrines, parades, flowers every where, palm leaves... every house!! It is an interesting time to be in Mexico. I am very lucky to get to live here!!!
