My neighbors across the street created this shrine to "Viernes de Dolores"... translation " Our Lady of Sorrows"

Easter is the holiest of Holidays in Mexico. Christmas is almost just a day on the calender but Easter they pull out all the stops. From now until Easter Sunday it will be non stop shrines, parades, flowers every where, palm leaves... every house!! It is an interesting time to be in Mexico. I am very lucky to get to live here!!!

Pozos... another opening another show...

What a wonderful weekend... !!!

I went to Pozos with friends for the opening of a new show at Eva's Gallery.

The artist was Cynthia Hamilton an encaustic artist... it was wonderful and her vision was so beautiful!!

In the evening there was a concert to celebrate the equinox . The concert was held in the ruins of the mines in Pozos. IT WAS wonderful...

How blessed am I to live here with all this art, music and wonderful people!!! I am so lucky!!!!

There is a picture of the concert and some of the opening ... but there are none of our late night hot tub and wine drinking party... it was the best part of the evening... BUT no photos!!!

Our 1st Anniversary!!

Tonight was the first anniversary of our Gallery.... what a great evening... !! I was so grateful to be able to attend. This has been a long winter for me but I am excited that I could go to our party.

Edgardo gave us all painting aprons as a gift!!! I don't want to get mine dirty!!! :-)

Might have to hang it up in my studio!!!

Birthday Party!! I can now collect SS :-)

A few wonderful friends got together and had a lunch for me on my birthday.....It was great fun and went on long after lunch!!! (thanks Eva)

Walking and getting ready to take back my world!!

This picture is my view for about 4 months....

My back is doing great!! I can be up and out for at least 2 hours before it aches... and it is only an ache most the time..... THE real pain is real but getting rarer and rarer. So I have my life back.

Dealing with two sick cats etc, one of them no longer a "FREE " cat!!!

Having my credit cards cut off because I used them in Mexico... (HELLO I HAVE been using them here for 4 years!!!!) Seems Bank of America got hacked and my card was one of them... they even cut me off my online account.

NOW MY phone is cut off because some how I did not get the bill and if you don't pay by the day it is due you are cut off.... same for power. I will get my phone back tomorrow...

OH and one of the cats bit thru the charger for my cell phone... so I had no charger... lucky for me my housekeeper could splice the wires for me... it works now as long as we don't touch it... I ordered a new one and one for my car. The cats are never in my car!!!!

SOOOOOOOOOOO I have decided the stars are just not in my favor this week and from now on life is going to be great....

NOw just to stay up right, get a phone and be over puking cats, and keep access for my money...

AND to get well enough to put my house on the market and find a house all on one floor!!
